We teach Core Knowledge sayings. One is April showers bring May flowers. We had some fun with this one. These projects are great for helping to develop the fine motor skills.
We teach Core Knowledge sayings. One is April showers bring May flowers. We had some fun with this one. These projects are great for helping to develop the fine motor skills.
Raindrops were made with a construction paper teardrop border, tissue paper, and contact paper. Some were stapled onto the board, and more were suspended from the ceiling using a thin thread.
Flowers were creating using 3 by 3 squares of multi-colored tissue and pipe cleaners. They wrote their names on the underside of a leaf which was slid on from the bottom.
Students tore scraps of construction paper that we had saved and glued it on the rainbow Then we added cotton and the poem seen here on the back It was a perfect culminating project for our Weather unit
